Assistance with SF-50 Reprints
Customers are asked to report incidents to the NFC Contact Center (NCC) as soon as possible to ensure proper coordination with Office of Personnel Management as well as execution of system modifications to minimize the impact to employee records, salary, etc. Print screens from e-OPF should be provided to the NCC to substantiate missing records and/or erroneous data elements. Agencies requiring the re-creation of SF-50s for a period beyond the 2-year threshold may incur a cost associated with the effort.
Non-e-OPF customers are encouraged to print SF-50s from the Remote Forms Queuing System (RFQS) on a bi-weekly basis or within the 26 pay periods of the forms being created. NFC recommends that agencies only request reprints of SF-50s at the close of the pay period after the PAYE process ends. This is so any possible calculations which may be updated during the PAYE process will update to the SF-50 as well. Agencies are requested to utilize RFQS at the earliest possible time, to ensure SF-50s are available for printing for the period in which they are needed.
