IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Closure of the Annual Pay Raise Mailbox: February 15, 2024; Effective February 20, 2024, the Annual Pay Raise Mailbox will be closed and will no longer be monitored daily. Also, the Annual Pay Raise web page will be shut down.

Production Verification (EMPOWHR ONLY) - 2024 Annual Pay Raise Project 73145: January 23, 2024; This notice is to inform all EmpowHR customers that the National Finance Center (NFC) has completed the production Personnel Input and Edit System (PINE)Pass 01 for Pay Period (PP) 01, 2024, and the EmpowHR imports. EmpowHR documents with PP01/2024 effective dates will process on Wednesday evening with the second pass of PINE.

This notice is to remind all customers of the following information:

The National Finance Center (NFC) will execute the production PINE Pass 01 job for Pay Period 01, 2024, the evening of Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Agency verification is currently scheduled for Monday, January 22, 2024, through noon (12:00 p.m.) central standard time (CST) on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
NFC will release an official notification regarding Agency verification timeframes for the Payroll Personnel System (PPS) on Monday, January 22, 2024.
NFC will release an official notification regarding Agency verification timeframes for EmpowHR on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
The 2024 Annual Pay Raise Activities TIMELINE should be reviewed to ensure that all Agencies are aware that (1) no production Personnel Input and Edit System (PINE) passes will be executed on Monday, January 22, 2024, and Tuesday, January 23, 2024; and (2) Agency verification for PPS and EmpowHR will continue through noon (12:00 p.m.) CST on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Please note that a separate notification will be sent to EmpowHR customers upon completion of EmpowHR imports. Barring any unforeseen processing issues, we expect to have the EmpowHR application up and running for Agency verification on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

NFC will execute the production PINE Pass 02 job the evening of Wednesday, January 24, 2024.
Please be reminded that the results for any actions entered between Monday, January 22, 2024, and Wednesday, January 24, 2024, cannot be viewed until Thursday, January 25, 2024.

Revised ServiceNow Instructions - 2024 Annual Pay Raise (#73145): December 30, 2023; Based on updates to the National Finance Center’s ServiceNow product which provides an alternate view to our customers, we have incorporated revised instructions for submission of TMGT changes to TMGT Operations Staff.

Update - Executive Order Status - 2024 Annual Pay Raise (#73145): December 27, 2023; As previously reported to you, the President issued an Executive Order dated December 21, 2023, finalizing the 2024 Federal pay raise. Therefore, the National Finance Center has begun pay raise processing activities for the 2024 Annual Pay Raise Project as scheduled. The Executive Order Number is 14113.

Executive Order Status - 2024 Annual Pay Raise (#73145): December 22, 2023; The President has issued an Executive Order dated December 22, 2023, finalizing the 2024 Federal pay raise. Therefore, the National Finance Center will proceed with the 2024 Annual Pay Raise Project as scheduled. However, the Executive Order number is not available yet. As soon as it is published, we will provide that information.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - 2024 Annual Pay Raise (#73145): November 30, 2023; The National Finance Center (NFC) is currently awaiting an Executive Order signed by the President to move forward with Project 73145, 2024 Annual Pay Raise. However, we must begin preparation activities to ensure a successful implementation in Pay Period (PP) 01, 2024, if authorized.

2024 Annual Pay Raise Kickoff Package: November 13, 2023; The 2024 Annual Pay Raise is quickly approaching, and it is time to start our coordinated efforts. The National Finance Center (NFC) has not received official notification from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regarding a January 2024 pay increase for Federal employees, but we must be prepared to begin work on short notice.

2024 Annual Pay Raise Project (#73145): October 16, 2023; The 2024 Annual Pay Raise is quickly approaching, and it is time to start our coordinated efforts. The National Finance Center (NFC) has not received official notification from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) regarding a January 2024 pay increase for Federal employees, but we must be prepared to begin work on short notice. This process has been assigned NFC Project Number 73145 for tracking purposes.
