Continuing Professional Education Credits

The Financial Management & Payroll Summit is an opportunity to learn from leaders and subject matter experts from the Office of the Chief Financial Officer’s Financial Management Services and National Finance Center. Attendees can earn continuing professional education credits (CPEs) through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Information related to credits and pre-requisites for each session will be provided in the registration portal.

This group live training will provide experienced users with a high-level overview of the sales order process including an emphasis on the 6 steps of the reimbursable order life cycle. The class will cover several SO types, FMMI guidance, and tips and tricks for smooth processing based on user experiences.

This presentation provides an overview of internal controls as governed by laws and regulations, an overview of the remediation of Government Accountability Office and Office of the Inspector General, and the required reporting of such in the annual Agency Financial Report.

System for Award Management: an overview of site functionality covering financial assistance program listings, entity to validation, and other entity data to be reviewed prior to making awards.

In this session, you will hear about the various services provided to USDA agencies by the OCFO-FMS-Financial Services Division. Subject matter experts will provide more detailed information on three specific services areas within the organization: IPAC/INTR processing, certification and disbursements, and 1099 processing.

This session will provide a brief background of the SF-133 and demonstrate how to use BOBJ queries, report on Budget Execution and Budgetary Resources, and Treasury reference material to identify root causes of problems within the SF-133.

This presentation provides an introduction to NFC. The session will cover NFC services, notable achievements, and takes an in-depth look at the integrated suite of applications that comprise the Payroll/Processing System (PPS) and the biweekly processing cycle. Additionally, a high-level introduction to NFC communications is also included.

This live demonstration will provide attendees with an overview of the reporting tools that NFC offers. The session will encompass a comparison of Insight, FOCUS, and the Reporting Center.

This session provides helpful hints for navigating through NFC. Topics will include the Employee Personal Page (EPP), auditing, processing tips, IRIS dictionary, escalations, customer user acceptance testing (CUAT), Administrative Billings and Collections (ABCO), and PINE.

This session includes a review of our transformation of ServiceNow, latest Process Improvements implemented, some quick navigation hints or shortcuts, how to report issues with NFC’s ServiceNow application, listing of ServiceDesk quick reference guides and the NOW future. Join us as we Introduce new Modules and some key features for our Agency customers.

This session presents an overview of NFC's two main help desks: the NFC Contact Center and Operations Security Center, specialize in so attendees have a better understanding of who to contact at NFC for assistance. Also learn about incident management and the ticket life cycle.
