Minority Profile:
This report displays a count of all employees in an organization across race and national origin (RNO) classifications. To run this report enter the optional Select Criteria and click Go. Note: All select criteria and sorting options are assigned default values as detailed below.
Select Criteria:
The selection criteria categories allow you the flexibility to build custom reports by providing you options to indicate data fields, primary sort key and type of report (chart or graph). Most select criteria options allow for multiple or block selections to be made. To make multiple selections click on your initial selection and hold the control (Ctrl) key down while clicking any subsequent selections. To make a block selection click and drag the mouse to highlight your selection. Note: These selection criteria categories are optional.
- Organizational Structure - indicates the level of the organization you wish to select for the report (the default selection is based on your security access).
- Personnel Office Identifier (POI) - indicates the employing or servicing Personnel Office you wish to select for the report (the default selection is based on your security access). This field may also be referred to as the Submitting Office Number (SON).
- Pay Plan - indicates the pay plans you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Occupational Series - indicates the occupational series you wish to include on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Grade - indicates the grade levels you wish the be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Occupation (PATCO) - indicates the occupation types (Professional, Administrative, Technical, Clerical, Other) that you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Supervisory Status - indicates supervisory status you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Location - indicates Duty State locations you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Employment Type (PFT) - indicates the employee status (Permanent Full Time (PFT), Permanent Part Time (PPT), Other) that you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Age - indicates Age groups you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Veterans Preference - This code indicates whether or not the employee is entitled to Veterans Preference. This is used in determining retention rights for RIF actions and procedural rights in appeal cases, and in other areas where Veteran Preference is pertinent (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Disability Code - indicates the disability code(s) you wish to include on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Education Level - indicates the Education Levels you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Length of Service - indicates Length of Service groupings you wish to be included on the report (the default is "All"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Group any designation of Hispanic in "Hispanic" category, designations of "White" with one minority in the minority category; and all other combinations in "Two or More" - indicator to group any workforce data with Hispanic in the "Hispanic" category, group workforce with "White" designation and one minority in the minority designation and all other combinations in Two or More designations on the report (the default is "Yes"). Multiple or block selections are allowed.
- Sort by gender inside of RNO classification - indicator to sort gender inside Race/Ethnic Origin classification (the default is "Yes").
- Time Frame - indicates the year (Calendar or Fiscal) you wish to be reflected on the report (the default is "Current Calendar Year"). Multiple or block selections are not allowed.
- Sort By - this indicator provides you the option to select the primary sort key (Age, Base Salary, Education Level, Employment Type, Sex, Grade, Disability Code, Location (State), Occupation (PATCO), Occupational Series, Pay Plan, Supervisory Code, Retirement Year, Years of Service) for the report. If no sort option is specified the organization levels or used. Multiple or block selections are not available.
Data Source: The
data source for this report is the National Finance Center's (NFC) Personnel History
(PerHis) database. The NFC Reporting Center performs a biweekly extract from
the PerHis database to populate the Reporting Center data warehouse. The data extract
selects all employees as defined below:
- Permanent Full-Time (SES Non Career) Employees:
- All Executive or Executive Service employees (Pay Plan of"EX" or "ES") with a Type Appointment Code of "6".
- Permanent Full-Time Employees:
- All Executive or Executive Service employees (Pay Plan of"EX" or "ES") with a Type Appointment Code not equal "6".
- All employees with Type of Appointment "1", "2", "6", "7" and Type Employment code of "1".
- All Type Appointment codes of "8" and Appointment Authorization Code One is "Y7M" and the Nature of action code is "170" or "190" or "570" or "590"
- All employees with Type Appointment codes of "8" and Type Employment code of "1". Smithsonian Trust Employees Only
- Permanent Part Time Employees:
- All employees with Type of Appointment "1", "2", "6", "7" and Type Employment code of "2".
