From the President
President, AGA New Orleans Chapter
Please renew your membership.
We are two months into the 2016-2017 year and we need membership participation from senior leadership within your Federal, State, or Local government agencies to push the importance of AGA and what it can do for you, your organizations and our communities within the metropolitan area of New Orleans.
It is proven that organizations of all calibers of individuals, professional/non-professional backgrounds are needed to support one another as an example of the flooding waters affecting our neighboring cities around the State of Louisiana. AGA has been one of many supporting groups to assist those in need and we will continue to do so as our organization stays strong and committed to the overall mission of what AGA stands for.
The AGA year is underway and we continue to seek help in achieving the mission and goals set out by our local chapter. I cannot emphasize enough how much work there is to be accomplished. All members are urged to: 1) get involved 2) help recruit new members and 3) attend meetings monthly. We also need members to join the local Chapter Executive Committee (CEC) and fill the open positions below:

- Meetings/Publicity/Programs Chairperson
