RETIRE 22-01, Modification of RETM POI Summary Report

Summary

In order to provide a higher level of reporting capabilities, the POI Summary Report in the Retirement Processing System (RETM) has been modified to provide additional information and to improve the tracking of retirement cases submitted to the National Finance Center (NFC) for processing. The POI Summary Report lists the separated individuals names within the Personnel Office Identifier (POI) and the number of processing days between the separation date and the date the retirement case was submitted to the Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

The following fields have been added to the POI Summary report:

• Date of Separation
• Application Received Date
• Date the Nature of Action Applied
• Processed Complete Date
• Register Number
• Card Pay Period
• Card Year

  Note: The Type Action field was replaced with the Nature of Action field.

To Access the POI Summary Report in RETM:

1. Enter R at the Action Code prompt on the Agency Tracking menu.
2. Select the Enter button. The Report Generation screen is displayed.
3. Complete the applicable fields.
4. Select the Enter button. The message Job Submitted is displayed.

To view this procedure, select HR and Payroll Clients from the MyNFC drop-down menu on the NFC Home page.
