INQUIRY 17-04, Phase 2 - Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act

Summary

A new option was added to the Table Management System (TMGT), TMGT Table 102, Pay/Pers Download Table, and new Remarks were added to the SF 1150, Record of Leave Data, that have to do with Phase 2 of the Wounded Warriors Federal Leave Act project.

The Remark Code 30V which was originally entered for employees eligible for Disabled Veteran Leave will no longer be required. This Remark Code has been inactivated in TMGT Table 052, Remark Code and Descriptions. A special remark (A, B, or C) will be generated when an action which updates the SF 1150 is processed if the employee is eligible for Disabled Veteran Leave.

The Disabled Veteran Leave hours used in the current pay period will be added to the Leave page.

On the Earnings and Leave Statement, the Disabled Veteran Leave Used field will no longer be grayed out and will now display the Disabled Veteran Leave used for that pay period.

TMGT

A new option, Disabled-Vet-Leave, will be added to TMGT Table 102, Pay/Pers Download Table, for Disabled Veteran Leave. Two new fields will be added to the end of TMGT Table 102 download file.

  • Disabled Veteran Leave Bal
  • Disabled Veteran Leave Start Date

The Remark Code 30V that applied to the Disabled Veteran Leave balance will no longer be needed.

Insight

The Insight Workforce Profile subject area will be modified to include a new field DVL-CUR-PP-HOURS-USED to house the hours used in a current pay period.

Reporting Center (RPCT)

The Disabled Veteran Leave number of hours used in the current pay period will be added to the Statement of Earnings & Leave.

Implementation

TMGT

TMGT will add a new option on TMGT Table 102, Pay/Pers Download Table, for Disabled Veteran Leave, and two new fields will be added to TMGT Table 102 download file that the Agency receives from NFC.

To Display the Disabled Veteran Leave on TMGT Table 102, Download File:

  1. On TMGT Main Menu, enter i102 to display TMGT Table 102, Pay/Pers Download Table.
  2. Complete all required fields on TMGT Table 102, Pay/Pers Download Table Profile screen.
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Press F10 to display the Pay/Pers Download Table/Data Elements screen.
  5. Press F8 until the Pay/Pers Download Table/ Data Elements (8) screen is displayed.
  6. On the Pay/Pers Download Table/Data Elements (8) screen, select the DISABLED-VET-LEAVE field.

    After the DISABLED-VET-LEAVE field is selected, the following two new fields will be populated on TMGT Table 102 download file that the Agencies receive from NFC:

    • Disabled Leave Balance
    • Disabled Veteran Leave Start Date
