Summary
This bulletin supersedes HRPAY 19-11, Spot Awards, dated December 4, 2019, to update the pay period information. All other information remains the same.
The processing timeline for individual/group National Finance Center (NFC)-disbursed spot awards on the nightly schedule during the final pay periods of calendar year 2019 is outlined below.
Implementation
Spot awards that are processed with Nature of Action Code 841/849/887/889, Authority Code PAY, and Award Code C100 on the nightly schedule will be handled in the following manner:
- If processed by the Agency during Pay Period (PP) 25, 2019, processing and disbursement will occur during the normal processing timeframes and will be reported as part of tax year 2019.
- If processed by the Agency during PP 26, 2019, the awards will be held in suspense with the Personnel Input and Edit System (PINE) Document Type 110-Incentive Awards, Edit Message 149, . These awards will be processed by NFC in the following pay period and will be reported as part of tax year 2020.
