HRPAY 18-04, Spell Check Functionality for Manager Self Service

Summary

EmpowHR will be modified to add a spell check functionality to Manager Self Service in both the Manager PAR Request and Manager Recruit Request components. The Justification and Comments fields shall be modified to add the spell check dictionary option on the Manager Recruit Request page. The Comments field shall be modified to add the spell check dictionary option on the Manager Recruit Request Approval page. In addition, while in the approval process, the approvers will have the ability to modify the Justification field.

The Manager Recruit Request Approval Page will be modified to add the spell check dictionary option to the required Comments and Justification fields.

The Manager PAR Request page Comments field and the approver Comments field will be modified to add the spell check dictionary option.

Implementation

The Justification and Comments fields will be modified in EmpowHR to add spell check functionality to Manager PAR Request and Manager Recruit Request components. Both fields shall also be modified to have the spell check dictionary option.

Note: Spell check is not automatic; the icon must be selected by the user to activate the functionality.
